We hear the word "sustainability" a great deal.

But what does it actually mean? For some, it means recyclable. For others, biodegradable materials, reduced carbon emissions, less packaging, less water and energy in production.

All of these matter. But at DAILY LAB, sustainability is not a checklist — it is a comprehensive respect for the planet, embedded in every decision we make: from raw materials and product design, to manufacturing partners and the long-term experience of the people who use our products.

DAILY LAB is committed to six core principles.

Durability First: Better Made, Sufficient to Last

There is a quiet wisdom in the phrase "enough is enough." At DAILY LAB, we translate it into practice: build products that endure time itself.

Our metal hardware is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and stainless steel, engineered to last over a decade. Our scent refills are standardized, modular, and reusable — when one tablet fades, you replace only the tablet, not the hardware.

The phrase "10 years' time" appears throughout our design language. The first principle of sustainability is to manufacture less. A product that lasts ten years is infinitely more sustainable than ten products that last one.

Biodegradable, Allergen-Free Plant-Based Ingredients

DAILY LAB's fragrance materials are sourced exclusively from Givaudan (the 250-year-old Swiss perfume house) and Firmenich (with 128 years of perfumery excellence). We insist on plant-based ingredients and reject cheap synthetic musks and petroleum-derived compounds.

Safety is sustainability. Every formulation is:

IFRA-certified (International Fragrance Association standards)

MSDS-certified (Material Safety Data Sheet verified)

Passed 26 perfume allergen tests (independent lab verified)

100% Phthalates-free (zero endocrine disruptors)

This means our products are safe for humans, safe for pets, and safe for the natural environment. They do not pollute the air you breathe. They do not irritate sensitive passengers. They do not introduce persistent chemicals into your cabin or your life.

DAILY LAB's products are built around a 1+X modular system:

1 hardware unit (anodized aluminum vent clip, visor mount, or other mount) — built to last

X scent refills — purchased separately, swapped at will, infinitely renewable

This means you never discard the hardware simply to change the scent. The environment pays no price for your evolving taste.

We believe good packaging does not require complexity. A thoughtfully designed compact box conveys more care than a lavish presentation buried in plastic fillers.

Recyclable Materials, Thoughtful End-of-Life

Every DAILY LAB component is designed with eventual recovery in mind:

Metal and alloy housings → fully recyclable

Glass elements → fully recyclable

Plaster bases (in Fragrance Plaster) → mineral, naturally degradable

Plastic refill trays → collected and processed appropriately

Select products also feature a DIY refill option: when the scent fades, add your own essential oil or perfume. The plaster continues its life. Waste is postponed.

Responsible Partnership Throughout the Supply Chain

DAILY LAB does not select partners on price. We select them on principle.

Givaudan (250 years of Swiss perfumery) operates under the most stringent European and international fragrance safety standards.

Firmenich (128 years of compounding) is an active participant in industry-leading sustainability initiatives.

DAILY LAB Factory A : Specializing in metal material manufacturing and processing since 2016. Every anodized aluminum housing and stainless steel clip in our vent diffusers is precision-crafted at this facility.

DAILY LAB Factory B The first to discover calcium silicate's superiority as a fragrance carrier — non-toxic, water-free, formed through pure compression, with a uniform micro-porous structure that outperforms PVC, PE, EVA, diatomaceous earth, and traditional plaster. DAILY LAB championed this material to become the de facto industry standard.

DAILY LAB requires fully traceable, sustainably sourced raw materials — from plantation to production line.

This means our fragrances are not anonymous industrial compounds. Every ingredient has a known origin, a known cultivation method, and a known processing standard. We work alongside our partners to ensure that no laborer and no ecosystem is sacrificed in the making of any product we sell.

This depth of manufacturing engagement — independent R&D in both precision metal hardware and scent carrier materials — makes DAILY LAB perhaps the only car fragrance brand that builds its products from the material up, rather than assembling them from off-the-shelf components.

DAILY LAB is a designer fragrance brand animated by a conviction that the objects of daily life deserve the same care as heirlooms. Our design team has earned 19 international industrial design awards and holds 47 technology patents.
